A Union of Hope

Explore the home of Joseph and Rachel Moore, a Black family, for the first time at the Tenement Museum. A Union of Hope: 1869 shares their story of migration from Belvidere, NJ, and Kingston, NY, to NYC in the 1860s and 1870s. Discover their community building in both their neighborhood and workplace.
Giants: Art from the Dean Collection of Swizz Beats & Alicia Keys
